Volunteering at Teresian House
Teresian House Center for the Elderly is a 300 bed, non-profit nursing home served by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm and sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany.
The philosophy of the Carmelite Sisters stresses quality of life, holistic caring, and hospitality. This philosophy is the cornerstone on which Teresian House was built. The goal of Teresian House is to provide quality care in a home-like setting.

Who Can Volunteer: Members of churches and organizations.
Why Should You Volunteer: Meet new friends. Learn new skills. Use your experience on college or employment applications. Recognition - awards, parties feeling of satisfaction.
Volunteer Hours: 8:30 am - 8:30 pm 7 days a week
Volunteer Positions: Friendly Visiting, Assist with Activities Programs, In-house Transportation Pastoral Care, Country Store Clerk, Cyber Café Clerk, Dietary, Laundry.
